Principal’s Message

Welcome to High Point Elementary—Home of the Sidewinders!

It is an absolute honor to serve as the new principal of High Point Elementary! I’m thrilled to begin this new journey with our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Together, we’re going to make this school year one to remember.
For the past 14 years, I’ve proudly served the students and families of Navasota ISD. My career began as a middle school math teacher, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of serving as both Assistant Principal and Associate Principal at Navasota Junior High. Those experiences shaped me as a leader and deepened my commitment to creating learning environments where students feel safe, challenged, and loved.
At High Point Elementary, we believe that every child has unique gifts, and it’s our job to help each one grow and shine. Our Sidewinder team is passionate about building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and celebrating both big and small wins along the way. We’re creating a culture where students feel empowered to take risks, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning.
As we begin this school year, you’ll see us focus on academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and consistent communication. We’ll work hard to ensure that our classrooms are filled with joy, structure, and meaningful learning. You’ll also see us engage families and the community because we know that strong partnerships are the key to student success.
To our students—I can’t wait to get to know each of you and cheer you on as you grow throughout the year. To our parents and families—I look forward to building a strong partnership with you as we work together to support your children. And to our staff—thank you for the heart and energy you bring every day. Our Sidewinders are lucky to have you.
Here’s to a great year ahead full of learning, laughter, and Sidewinder pride!

With excitement and gratitude,
Mrs. Estrada
Principal, High Point Elementary
