Principal's Message

Welcome Parents, Guardians, and Students to the 2018-19 school year!  Our goal is to make each year at High Point better than the year before.  Teachers and staff are working hard to prepare their rooms for the Meet the Teacher on August 23 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.  We can’t wait to see everyone again and welcome new students into High Point Elementary. You are welcome to bring your school supplies to Meet the Teacher Night to make the first day backpack a little lighter.

I’m also very excited to share the exciting news that every student in Navasota ISD will eat breakfast and lunch for FREE!  Navasota ISD will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program for 2018.  Just remember to fill out the Household Income Survey found on the Navasota ISD website under the Quick Links tab.  Every parents must fill this survey out for every child this year.  If you need any help filling this survey out, please let us know and we will be glad to offer our help.

This year’s campus theme is: T.E.A.M. Together Everyone Achieves More.  This theme reflects our commitment to work together to reach higher goals than we accomplished last year.  We have planned so many FUN educational events on campus this year. Parents we want you to be a part of this journey.  There are so many ways to volunteer in school and become an active member of our school community. We urge you to stay up to date with our school events on our High Point Elementary Facebook page and by visiting our campus homepage at https://hpe.navasotaisd.org/.

I’m looking forward to seeing you back on campus soon!  Make sure you say hello if you see me around town.
