Welcome to High Point Elementary School!
My name is Shannon Taylor and I was born in Katy.
I moved up to Conroe in 2005 and graduated from Montgomery High School.
I went to Lone Star Community College before graduating from Sam Houston State University with my teaching degree in both General and Special Education.
This is my eighth year teaching Special Education Resource and Inclusion and my first year at High Point Elementary School. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and growing students.
Fun Facts About Me:
- I love creepy crawlies and will pick them up (For example, spiders, snakes, bugs in general, etc.).
- I love, love to read just about anything.
This can include: science fiction, cozy mysteries, fantasy, action, horror, and more.
- Even though I graduated as a Bearkat, the Mississippi Bulldogs will always have my heart.
- I have 3 dogs: Dixie (Almost 14 yrs old), Cassius (Almost 4 yrs old), and Harriett (Almost 3 yrs old). I affectionately will always call them my fur babies. Dixie and Cassius are both Cotons and Harriett is a mini sheep doodle.
