My name is Ms. Verdeja and this is my first year as a teacher! I have a cat named Sushi and my favorite color is purple! I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and now I live in Brenham, Texas. Growing up, I always loved school—the vibrant colors, the engaging environment, and the joy of learning. My goal as a teacher is to create a caring and inclusive classroom where every student feels encouraged to learn and grow. I want to make a difference in students' lives while also having the opportunity to be fun and creative. I love helping others and have always been interested in teaching. Once I stepped into High Point Elementary, I knew immediately that this was where I was meant to be.
