Hello! My name is Mikayla Smith. I graduated from Texas A&M University in December 2024, which is also when I began teaching! Teaching in a public school anyway. I taught children’s ministry at my church for a few years before I moved back home! I was born and raised in Magnolia, TX and I currently live in Montgomery with my high school sweetheart husband (Malcolm), our two cats (Pippi & Nani), and our dog (Tiki). We are expecting our first baby in January!

I am a Christian and I enjoy doing anything that allows me to be creative or spend time with friends and family! I come from a large family, so thankfully I get to do this often! I like crafting, organizing, homemaking, and hanging out with the people I love! 

I am in education because I believe I am responding to a calling by doing so. I believe I was equipped for this very role I serve, and I acknowledge that it is a blessing and a privilege to love and teach the youth of our society.

I am so excited to be your pre-k teacher!
