Hello Rattler Nation!
My name is Mrs. Stephens and I will be teaching 5th Grade math this year! I have previously taught 3rd Grade math for 5 years and am so excited to be moving to 5th Grade!
A little bit about me! I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Two years ago I became a Texas Education Agency recognized teacher through the Teacher Incentive Allotment Program. I was so honored to recieve this recognition and give so much of the credit to the amazing educators and administrators that have helped me grow as a teacher during my time in Navasota ISD.
I have been married to my husband Marshall for 33 years! We have 4 amazing grown children and three adorable grandkids! We moved to Grimes county after living along the Gulf Coast for our entire lives and love it here! I love to be outside with the beautiful deer that roam on our land and in the garden seeing what yummy vegetables have grown. I also love to bake, craft and read.
This is my 10th year teaching and my 7th year at High Point and I love it here so much! I am so excited to work with each of you throughout the school year.
