Welcome to 3rd Grade
I am Mrs. Gutierrez and I teach 3rd grade Math and Science.  This is my seventh year at High Point and I love it here so much! I am so excited to work with each of you throughout the school year.
 
About 3rd Grade
 
Third grade is an exciting year. Students transition to become independent critical thinkers and learners. In May, students will have to take the 3rd grade reading and math STAAR test. The entire year we work on learning the skills and practicing different strategies so that your student can be successful. We cannot wait to see the progress your student makes this year!
 
 
Corrections/Make Up Work
 
Any graded work in folders should be taken out. Any assignment with the words "Redo" or is a failing grade may be made up within 3 days.
