Howdy, and welcome to Fifth Grade!  Mr. Bryant, Mrs. Diehl, Ms. Reed, and I are all extremely excited to have each and everyone of you in our classes!

 

In my room, you will be practicing and expanding on your reading and social studies skills.  My job is to teach you the state required content and to give you the skills to pass the STAAR test.  My job also is to help you develop a love of reading by finding you books that you actually like to read.  Your job is to come to class everyday prepared to participate and ready to read.

 

Do you love reading?  Super!  You and I will get along famously!  Is reading one of your least favorite things to do?  That's ok, too!  This year, I hope that I will be able to help you develop a love of reading.
