Kimberly Meschke to Lead High Point Elementary

Kimberly Meschke has been named elementary principal during the May School Board Meeting, by the NISD Board of Trustees. Meschke has served as the assistant principal at High Point Elementary since 2014. She has also served as an assistant principal/academic coordinator at Navasota High School for 5 years, 8 years as the academic coordinator at Navasota Junior High and has worked in the Navasota Schools system since 1989, where she began as a fifth grade self-contained teacher at Navasota Junior High. Before coming to Navasota, Kimberly taught in Killeen ISD for 2 years.

Kimberly brings with her a passion for learning, a love for kids, and the understanding that together we can accomplish our set goals. Mrs. Meschke is looking forward to continuing current partnerships with students, faculty, and staff, while building new partnerships with our parents and community.

Meschke earned her master’s degree in education from Sam Houston State University and her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin. Kimberly and her husband Al Meschke have two children, both amazing products of NISD. Garrett (24) is the District Manager for Verizon Cellular Sales. Kaitlin (21) is a Junior at Texas A&M majoring in Biology.
